About This Course

The PET technique is the bone preservation tool that we use to maximise aesthetics, keratinised gingiva width and vascularisation to the buccal bone without the need for any hard or soft graft. During this course you will learn the principles and history behind the technique, learn how to manage complications and learn the process to enable you to implement this technique safely within your practice.

Aims and Objectives

This course aims to improve an experienced implant dentist’s understanding of the skills required to utilise partial extraction therapy to improve the aesthetic outcome for their patients.

By the end of this course, we would expect participants to have a better understanding of partial extraction therapy, how it can be used and implemented in surgery and which cases are suitable for this technique. We would also expect delegates to understand the process and be able to implement these techniques confidently in practice for simple cases.
