Course Aims

The course aims to increase an implant dentist’s understanding of the skills required to perform a sinus lift and to demonstrate the correct use of the DASK system.

Course Outcome

At the end of this course, we would expect an experienced implant dentist to be able to safely undertake a sinus lift procedure using the DASK kit.

Course notes will be available on the day and lunch and refreshments will be provided for all delegates.

Who Should Attend?

General dentists with basic implant dentistry knowledge and experienced implant dental surgeons looking for a solution to patients complaining of loose dentures of requiring clearances.

Course Aims

  • • To present an alternative implant technique that conserves bone and which can stabilise loose dentures for patients not suitable for conventional implant therapy
  • • To discuss how the use of mini-dental implants can enhance the scope of treatment for patients with severely atrophic ridges when conventional dental implants may not be an option
  • • To see how the mini-dental implant concept has evolved over the last 10 years to become a viable part of the dentist’s armamentarium today
