This course is suitable for all experienced implant dentists.
The course aims to increase an implant dentist’s understanding of the skills required to perform a sinus lift and to demonstrate the correct use of the DASK system.
At the end of this course, we would expect an experienced implant dentist to be able to safely undertake a sinus lift procedure using the DASK kit.

From the inexperienced dental surgeon and new graduate, to the well experienced, this course covers all aspects of implant dentistry including basics and advanced techniques. The teaching approach is tailored to the individuals previous surgical experience. This personalised approach in training means that everyone can gain from it. From simple techniques to ensure precision with tissue handling and reconstruction, to developing skills which hone surgical techniques with economy of movement.
The course covers surgical aspects of implant dentistry from flap raising, suturing, bone grafting, simple and complex, autogenous and guide bone regeneration using allografts and xenograft utilising simple cutting techniques to piezosurgery and blood constituents. A range of grafting material will be discussed and handled. From minimal access sinus surgery and Somers Lift, to open techniques including the DASK sinus approach. From immediate loading to early delayed and delayed approaches, single teeth to full arch considerations with ‘All-on-4’ techniques. Periodontal surgical techniques including connective tissue grafting, techniques to adopt in the high lip line anterior implant cases. I will summarise the pearls and pitfalls I have collected from 24 years of training as a facial and dental reconstructive surgeon.
